Hey guys.

On Saturday, I attended the Shadowmoor preprelease for Magic the Gathering and let me tell you...this set is REDICULOUS. I have never had more fun at a prerelease. -1/-1 counters were flying left and right. Hybrid mana costs as far as the eye can see. Not only that, the art for this set is particularly fantastic. Shadowmoor is set in a dark world, where horrors reign and Flame-kin fuel themselves with hate. The Flame-kin are just fantastic in this set, specifically by RK Post, Daarken, and Aleksi Briclot.

Speaking of RK Post, he was attending the prerelease, signing cards and decorating playmats, on top of selling his unbelievable art. He was the first Magic artist that I have met and he is the most down-to-earth man I have met. He is very friendly and humble. I got him to draw a dragon and some sweet totem/skeleton symbol on my playmat along with signing several of my cards, including my prerelease Avatar of Discord . The next opponent I had said: "Dangit. I can't win against that playmat..."

It was a great day...
